2. Definitions

  • We / us / our — GLOBAL TECH BFD LTD, trading as Driftbloom.
  • You / customer — the consumer placing an order through this website.
  • Goods — the products listed for sale on this website.
  • Distance contract — a contract concluded through this website without you and us being physically together, governed by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
  • Cooling-off period — the 14-day statutory cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  • Returns period — our 30-day commercial returns window, which runs alongside and beyond your statutory rights.

3. The contract between us

When you place an order, you will receive an order acknowledgement email. A binding contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may decline an order where goods are unavailable, where we cannot verify payment, or where a pricing error has occurred; in that case any payment taken will be refunded in full.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include all applicable taxes. Delivery is free on every UK order, so the price shown at checkout is the full amount you pay. Payment is taken at checkout via our payment processor. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. If we discover a genuine pricing error affecting your order, we will contact you before dispatch and offer the choice of confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it for a full refund.

5. Delivery

We deliver within the United Kingdom only. Orders are dispatched from our UK warehouse within 1–2 working days and typically delivered within 2–4 working days of dispatch. Full details, including what happens if a delivery is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes when we receive payment in full.

6. Your right to cancel (14-day cooling-off period)

As a consumer buying at a distance, you have the right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day the goods are delivered. To exercise this right, tell us in writing (email is fine) within the 14-day period, then return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us. We will refund the price paid and standard outbound delivery charges within 14 days of receiving the goods back or receiving proof of return, whichever is earlier. Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains the process step by step and also describes our more generous 30-day commercial returns window.

7. Faulty goods — your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If goods are faulty, you have a short-term right to reject them within 30 days for a full refund, and further rights to repair or replacement (and in some cases a price reduction or final rejection) after that. Where goods are faulty, we pay the cost of the return. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8. Product safety and correct use

Our products are electrical devices and contain magnets. You must read and follow the safety information supplied with the product and set out on our Product Safety & Electrical Information page, including guidance for people with pacemakers or other implanted medical devices. Products must be used with the supplied power adapter, indoors, and in accordance with the instructions.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was made, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for that order. We supply goods for domestic and private use; we are not liable for business losses.

10. Complaints and contact

If anything goes wrong, contact us at hello@driftbloom.co.uk or +44 7446765677 and we will do our best to put it right promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to use the EU/UK online dispute resolution routes or seek advice from Citizens Advice.

11. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction (if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts). If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
